What is Algorave Club?
algorave (from algorithm and rave) is making people dance to music generated by programming musical algorithms live.
We are an afterschool club at UTC Sheffield OLP who code music in Python & Javascript, usually collaboratively, and always hacking our way to better tools.
What we play
Coding
We are working on improvements to FoxDot to make to it behave more how we like to.
- soloBars Soloing an instrument or group for a certain number of bars so you can drop to 4 to the floor etc.
Practice in public
We try to stream our pracices on youtube
Talks
As we like algoraving we try to talk to people about it.
